Etsy Art Picks

I have been trying to be good and not spend money on random stuff lately (wedding and honeymoon rapidly approaching), but I absolutely love these two prints by Oh My Cavalier. The prints are made from original drawings by Julianna Swaney, an artist currently living and working in Michigan. She is inspired by birds, lace, anthropomorphism, natural history museums, old books and prints, and anything Victorian. The old world look to these is timeless and something I can see being a definite conversation starter. Did I mention they were only $26 including shipping?

My next pick is Lynsey Hunter, an artist living in England. Her whimsical illustrations remind me of the artist who drew for The Royal Tennenbaums movie except that this is a thousand times better. They remind me of illustrations from a book I would have loved to have as a child, like this one titled "Paris Restaurant, France". At $20, it is also a great bargain!
