Even the Slowskys have a blog!

Seriously - if you're as big of a dork as I am, then you laugh at these commercials every time you see them. They never get old and I'm not sure why, but I know that their website just solidifies my love for the Slowsky turtles. You may visit it here.

I'm on delightfulblogs.com

Yay! You'll notice a new picture in the right column - "as seen on delightful blogs" to be more specific. Their fun website lists a manageable directory of groovy blogs, listed by category. So go check them out if you're in the need of a great new blog! A few of my new favorites that I found through their site are:

http://www.theblogisfound.com/
- this is the blog of a husband and wife photography team including their AMAZING photos and cute videos of their three year old daughter

http://chicbride.blogspot.com/ - a cute little blog with some great bridal finds (very relevant for myself and my upcoming nuptials)

http://www.indieshopping.com/blog/
- there are lots of indie shopping blogs but this one has some really fun stuff

http://anahata.typepad.com/
- I would love to dig into this blog further when i have more time but it looks really interesting... it's own description is : "The art chronicles of a junk enthusiast, Avid art Journaler, graphic designer, bird brain and all things papayalicious." I'm definitely intrigued!

Sweet surprise in the mail

I love mail. I get lots of it - bills, coupons, magazines, jewelry supplies, companies wanting me to use their credit card processing services for Freshie & Zero, even a free pen every now and then with Freshie & Zero printed on it - pretty fun stuff, really. So when I got my invite for the Harpeth Hall Alumnae Art Exhibit, I forgot to open it until the next day since I pretty much already knew what it was going to tell me. So, I pulled it out of the envelope...

Nice - like the design. Then I opened it up further...

...to see a huge picture of my Lucky Necklace on the invitation!!! Wow!!! I got super excited and called my mom right away to see if she had gotten the invite yet. She hadn't but she was excited anyway.

I was also in a show Saturday night that was a benefit for the Tomorrow Fund. Seriously - there are a LOT of Harpeth Hallers out there - so many women came up to my booth and then said they had seen my necklace in the invitation! I got to be excited all over again and tell everyone how surprised I was! Not to mention I sold tons of jewelry and raised a bunch of money for the Tomorrow Fund and the Community Foundation. Yay!

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Bomb Scare

Okay - I just have one thing to say about this. Who in the world mistakes a LITE BRITE for a BOMB???? Seriously!?!? Don't know what I'm talking about? Click here.
The Moon Rulz. And so does Aqua Teen. For a quick time waste, I recommend this, too.
