Giveaway in honor of my 200th post!

Wow! It's only taken me four years to get to number 200, but here it is! I was going to post up some banner ads I just made so you can see the marketing machine hard at work - the marketing machine named Freshie. :) But in honor of my 200th post, I think I should have a GIVEAWAY! Enter to win the Cartwheel necklace that is featured in a few of my new ads! And in honor of #200, I'll pick two winners - completely at random.

To enter the giveaway, simply comment on this post by answering the following question: What is your favorite Freshie & Zero piece and why? Easy enough, right? To win, you MUST include your email address so that I can contact you! Entries will be accepted through midnight on Monday, September 7th, and I'll announce the winners on Tuesday, September 8th here on the blog and also via email so please add beth(at)freshieandzero(dot)com to your list of email addresses so my email does not possibly wind up in your spam filter!

So, without further adieu, here is one of the latest banner ads, featured on SF Weekly (last month). I've been experimenting with different color backdrops - mostly to jazz up my etsy site, but I think over the course of the next few months, I will start shooting all of the jewelry on a slate background for the website, so that the colors are more consistent than the white I am currently using (which always looks grey in the photos anyway).

These ads take way too much time - in fact it's 1:45 and my plan was to make jewelry all day and what have I done? Written a blog, answered emails, and worked on the 3rd ad you see above. Now it's time for lunch, and when I come back, I have to file my business tax. The time flies when you're in charge of your own business! I don't know how I get any jewelry made with all the marketing and paperwork! It's been a good day, though. I've had two reorders from shops, and I am going to get ready for the Grant Park Festival in Atlanta this weekend. Life is good!

Happy giveaway entering! I can't wait to see everyone's comments!

I love the Simple Lula Loops (in fact, I just ordered it).
It is the epitome of simplicity and elegance...the fact that it
is absolutely homemade is the icing on the cake.

My favorite is the bucket & pail necklace! It's something different, but it goes with so many things.

And the fact that the rectangles make a cool noise when they swing around is an added bonus. :)

Pick a favorite? What?? How???

One among my favorites is Bucket & Pail because it's so visually interesting. I love jewelry that looks handmade. I haven't ever seen a shape that looks like it.

A longtime fave of mine has been the bucket and pail necklace, it has actually been on a wish list of mine for about a year. The design is so simple and fun.

I've given a few of your necklaces as gifts and have gotten nothing but ohh's and ahh's eachtime. Congrats on #200!

it was hard to decide on a favorite, but i decided on this one: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=29350104 it's just unlike anything i've got and anything i've really seen and that's why i picked it.

i love all of your product names, by the way. : )

and my email address is upupcreative@gmail.com (you know, for when i win)

Well I was going to say the bucket and pail, but since that piece is already getting a lot of love, I think my current fave is the many moons necklace. It's a good example of what you do best: clean and timeless.

Yay for making it to 200! I think I'm up to maybe 12 or 13, ha. See you at Renegade!

Congrats - I just hit 300. love the ads they look great!
My favorite piece I think would be the cartwheel necklace. I am not a real feminine person girl and don't wear a lot of jewelry. That necklace says feminine yet simple and I would wear it everyday. So that being said I think your slogan is spot on!

Hello! My favorite is probably the Wrapped Reflect necklace. It is a very unique design. I also rather like the cartwheels necklace you're giving away, because it reminds me of handcuffs and I'm a criminal defense paralegal. :)

My favorite is the pair of earrings I own - Simple Orbit & Halo. I love the simple design, and I this odd obsession with hammered silver jewelry.

My favorite is the simple truffle lariat. I love how its complexity and interest comes from how it drapes as opposed to what's attached to the chain. suebunny at gmail

Like many others, I love the bucket and pail necklace because it is simple and different than any other necklaces I've seen. I have actually put in a request with my husband to purchase it for me!! Hopefully he took the hint (does an email with a link to the actual necklace purchase page count as a "hint?") ;) Congrats on 200!

My favorite is Little Leap, with a peridot. I wear it all the time, and get tons of compliments.

That's really hard to pick...! But if someone held me down and forced to me choose just one of my favorites, it would have to be the Lucky Petal necklace. I love that it's kind of girly and not like any other necklace I've seen before.

I love the large eclipse. There is something so dainty but substantial about it. I just order it (and 3 other pieces) after seeing it on my sister-in-law. I am so glad we came across you at the Grant Park Festival. I plan on doing a good deal of x-mas shopping on your site!

My favoritest F&Z piece is one I picked up at Mamamade a year or so ago. It's the large "rain"... I bought it as a gift and decided it was a gift to myself. It's gorgeous and always gets compliments. You make really lovely jewelry.
